Day 0: #TresidderWorldTour

Hello, and welcome to my blog. I created this space as an archive for mine and my husband Matt’s adventure in the coming months, but we will see where this goes and how much I enjoy, or possibly don’t enjoy, writing.

Currently, Matt and I are technically based in the Seattle area but we don't actually have a house and we are open to what “home” means to us next. As of this very moment (9:24 pm, October 6th, 2018) "home" is a spare room in generous friends house until our big departure tomorrow morning. After that, "home" will be living out of our suitcases, and most importantly, being with each other. #canigetanycornier?

Starting tomorrow Matt and I set off on this crazy 6-month adventure we have been plotting for some time now. Our first leg will be Seattle > LA > Heathrow and after that, we will continue on, but I won't tell you where otherwise what's the point of reading! This whole dream of ours started as any dream does, just pondering the what-ifs and the why-nots of our lives when finally one of those thoughts makes you think "wait, I could actually do that!". Previously, Matt and I worked at a pretty high-intensity startup together that has probably set us up for a lifetime of chasing audacious goals and probably not living a "normal" life. We want to see the world, and we don't want to accidentally put it off until its too late.

I hope you all (whoever you are) enjoy following along and I hope our travels inspire you to do something crazy, and slightly irresponsible, too.
